Last Updated: June 2026
Effective Date: [INSERT LAUNCH DATE]

## 1. Agreement & Eligibility

By downloading, accessing, or using the Projectory mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). **If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Projectory.**

### 1.1 Eligibility Requirements

You must meet ALL of the following to use Projectory:

1. **Age:** You must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, Projectory is not available to you.
2. **College Athlete Status:** You must be:
   - A current or former college/university athlete at any level (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, club, intramural, etc.)
   - OR enrolled at a US college/university and competing for your school or registered club team
   - OR a recent graduate (within 2 years) who competed in college
3. **Location:** You must be located in or competing in the United States
4. **Legal Capacity:** You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
5. **No Prohibitions:** You must not be prohibited from using Projectory under applicable law

**You do not need to be verified to use Projectory.** Verification is optional and shows other athletes that you've confirmed your athletic status.

### 1.2 Self-Attestation

By creating an account, you certify and represent that:
- You are 18 or older
- You are a college athlete or meet the eligibility requirements above
- All information you provide is accurate and truthful
- You take full responsibility for false statements

**Projectory may verify your status** at any time by requesting:
- School email address (matching your claimed institution)
- Student ID photo (showing your name and school)
- Team roster screenshot
- Official school athletic department verification

If verification fails or you cannot verify, your account may be suspended or terminated.

---

## 2. Account & Verification

### 2.1 Account Creation

When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
- Update information if it changes
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Comply with all applicable laws

**You are responsible for your account. If someone gains unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@projectoryathletes.app.**

### 2.2 Verification Process (Optional)

**Verification is optional.** You can use Projectory without verification, but a ✓ badge adds credibility:

**To Verify, you submit ONE of:**
- School email address (we confirm it matches your claimed institution)
- Student ID photo (showing your name and school clearly)
- Team roster screenshot (showing your name on an official roster)
- Official letter/email from your school's athletic department

**Projectory's Review:**
- Our team confirms your status within 24-48 hours
- If verified, your profile shows a ✓ badge
- If not verified, you receive a reason and can re-submit
- Verification documents are deleted within 7 days

**Your Responsibility:**
- Documents must be clear, legitimate, and unaltered
- Fraudulent documents will result in account warnings or termination

### 2.3 Verification Badge Meaning

A ✓ Verification badge means:
- We confirmed you are a college athlete
- **It does NOT mean:** We endorse you as trustworthy, safe, or honest. Verification only confirms athletic status.
- Unverified athletes may also be legitimate; lack of a badge does not mean someone is fake

---
